FAQ
Q. Are queer folks really welcome?
Q. Do I need to believe in God to come?
Q. Where do you meet?
Q. What does ecumenical mean?
Absolutely. In Christ there is neither male nor female, neither citizen nor foreigner, neither gay nor straight. All of us are one in Christ, so all of us are welcome at The Table.
No. While we are an expressly and intentionally Christian community, people of all faiths and none looking for meaning or community are welcome to join us. All that we ask for is an open mind and an open heart.
We meet at a variety of local churches and other community spaces, as well as (occasionally) in members' homes. The location of each event is made available ahead of time on the calendar.
Ecumenical means that we value the contributions of all Christian groups! People from all Christian denominations and theological standpoints are most welcome at The Table. Our leadership is currently primarily Episcopal and Lutheran, but we're always happy to meet folks from other denominations.
